What Types of Financial Aid Are There?
There are multiple types of financial aid available, depending on your needs and what you qualify for.

Who Can Qualify for Financial Aid?
Financial aid is designed for students who can’t afford to pay for school without it. There are lots of factors that determine if you can receive assistance. We look at students with a high school diploma (or equivalent) that can show they’d benefit from job preparatory training. Recipients must maintain satisfactory progress in the school to remain eligible.
Recipients are selected without regard to age, sex, race, color, religion, national origin, or handicap. Scholarships are also available. They are funded by agencies, service organizations, individuals, and the college. Final eligibility for scholarships is determined by the donor(s) and by Broward Technical Colleges.
How Do I Apply?

The type of student aid you are eligible for, and how much you receive, will depend on a need analysis. We look at the cost of attendance and subtract you and your family’s contributions.
